Terms of service

These terms apply when you create an account on quillandgown.com or buy a lesson. Quill & Gown is a trading name of Liftmaster American and Global LLC, a limited liability company registered in Illinois, USA, at 1966 Quincy Court, Glendale Heights, Illinois 60139, USA ("we", "us"). 1. What we provide

Video lessons that walk through past school entrance papers, question by question. Lessons are streamed from our website; there are no downloads, and no separate transcript or notes files. We are independent and not affiliated with any school; copyright in the exam papers belongs to the schools.

2. Your account

You sign in with a link sent to your e-mail; there is no password. An account is for one family's own use. If a child under 13 will watch, a parent or guardian must create and manage the account. Please do not share sign-in links or let people outside your household use your account; we may suspend accounts that are shared or used to copy lessons.

3. Free membership

A free account gives access to the free 2024 lessons. We may change which lessons are free, with notice on the site.

4. Buying lessons

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any tax we are required to charge. Payment is taken by Stripe; we never see your card or wallet details. The 2024 top-up pack (£59.99) gives lasting access, in your account, to the five lessons listed on the site. "Lasting" means for as long as we operate the service; if we ever close it we will give at least 60 days' notice. Each published 2025 lesson can be bought on its own (£29.99) for lasting access to that lesson. The 2025 year pack (£319.84) is sold as a pre-order: it gives lasting access to all sixteen 2025 lessons listed on the site; lessons already published open straight away and the others open automatically as they are published, all by 7 October 2026. If they are not all published by then, you may ask for a full refund of the pack (see the refund policy).

5. Your right to cancel

As a consumer you normally have 14 days to cancel a contract for digital content. When you buy, you ask us to give you access straight away and acknowledge that you lose this right to cancel once access begins. Our voluntary refund policy still lets you ask for a refund in the cases it describes. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including your rights if content is faulty or not as described.

6. Using the lessons

Lessons are for your personal, non-commercial study. You may not record, copy, download, re-publish, sell or share them. Viewing may carry a watermark identifying your account.

7. Our responsibility

We take care to make the lessons accurate and useful, but they are study help: we do not promise any exam result or school place. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses. We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

8. Changes and the law

We may update these terms; the version shown when you buy applies to that purchase. If you live in the UK, the laws of England and Wales apply and you may bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
